Home Care Services

Provides trained and licensed staff that help with personal care, transportation, errands, homemaking, medication reminders, and respite for family caregivers. Our service area includes Yakima, Kittitas, Benton, Franklin, Columbia Garfield, Asotin and Walla Walla counties. We also serve the Yakima Indian Nation and Nez Perce county in Idaho.

Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels

Our Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels program offers home-delivered meals and well-checks for homebound clients and dining center meals for mobile clients. This community service is provided on a donation basis. Participants are asked to contribute what they can afford.

Substitute Meal Site Assistant or Transporter

Meals on Wheels, Mid-Columbia has an opportunity for an On-Call Substitute Meal Site Assistant or Transporter.  Will assist with various aspects of meal site operation, including food safety, preparation, packaging and service of meals with compliance to established standards of health, nutrition and sanitation.  Transporter duties include driving a cargo van, loading and unloading, and delivering food and supplies, all with the attention to food safety.  

Must be at least 21 years of age with prior experience in the food service industry. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds on a repetitive basis.  Additional requirements include the ability to read and write English, obtain a Food Handler's Permit and have an acceptable background and driving record along with proof of insurance.

Direct Care Supervisor

Senior Life Resources' Kennewick Home Care Services office is currently recruiting for the position of Direct Care Supervisor. This position is responsible for providing office and on-site supervision of home care service delivery providers. Registered Dietitian

Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels is currently recruiting for the position of Registered Dietitian. In conjunction with the Nutrition Services Director, the Registered Dietitian (RD) plans and oversees the Meals on Wheels food and nutrition program, food preparation and meal service. Additionally, the RD counsels individuals and groups on appropriate nutritional practices, as requested, promotes healthy eating habits, and recommends dietary modifications. Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels is currently recruiting for the position of Food Services Manager. This position is responsible for all kitchen functions, including food purchasing, receiving, inventory control, preparation, and maintenance of quality standards.
