OKTOBERFEAST 2019

We’re proud to present OktoberFeast 2019, a 5K Fun Run and Beer Garden whose proceeds benefit Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels. Runners, walkers, puppies, and strollers of all ages and abilities are invited to enjoy a morning filled with music, root beer, sausage, and beer for the over 21 crowd.

OktoberFeast takes place on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 10:30 am, and will begin and end at the Meals on Wheels Central Kitchen in South Richland, 1824 Fowler Street. The event will not be timed and is meant to be strictly for fun. The course is laid out as a standard out-and-back 5K event, but participants are welcome to turn around at any point. Mile markers will be placed along the course to help participants track how far they have traveled.

Providing Dignity, Care, and Nourishment one person at a time.

Senior Life Resources Northwest’s mission is to preserve and enhance the quality of life at home, with dignity and care.

By providing an array of professional supportive care services, we offer an alternative to institutional care for those who live in Southeastern Washington State.

Home Care Services

Provides trained and licensed staff that help with personal care, transportation, errands, homemaking, medication reminders, and respite for family caregivers. Our service area includes Yakima, Kittitas, Benton, Franklin, Columbia, Garfield, Asotin, and Walla Walla counties. We also serve the Yakama Indian Nation and Nez Perce county in Idaho.

What is the Community Saying?

“WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOUR HOME CARE PROVIDERS for their great care of my dad. My dad would often comment on how well he was treated by them. Also, they went beyond the call of duty with their care and they should be commended for their hard work. Thank you so much.”

“YOU GUYS SAVED MY LIFE! After my husband died I was worn out and underfed and weighed only 72 pounds. I couldn’t even put a sandwich together. Your meals literally saved me. I know I wouldn’t be here today if you hadn’t taken care of me.”
