Since 1974, Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels has been meeting the social and nutritional needs of older adults in our community. We serve delicious and nutritious meals at eight different senior dining centers within Benton and Franklin counties, and volunteers deliver Meals on Wheels to the homebound elderly. 


Meals on Wheels is accepting applications for a full-time, Marketing Specialist who will support Meals on Wheels and Senior Life Resources by being a vital member of our team, responsible for executing creative and effective marketing strategies to support our mission. This role involves developing and implementing promotion strategies across various platforms, maintaining relationships with local media, and creating compelling content that amplifies the organization’s brand awareness. (Any one position may not include all of the duties listed nor do the listed examples include all tasks which may be found in positions of this class).

  • Develop creative and engaging content for communication platforms, including social media, website, newsletters, press releases, photography, promotional items, video, PowerPoint presentations, and print media.
  • Collaborate effectively with leadership and staff to align marketing efforts with Meals on Wheels goals.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to create marketing materials such as brochures, displays, mailings, photography, and videos.
  • Take a lead role in special events planning and implementation.
  • Collaborate with Executive Director and MOW Director to develop and implement branding to align with Meals on Wheels America
  • Other duties as required or assigned.
